Colombia........Here I come......(Part 5)

Four hours into the flight to London, I was awaken by the air hostess who is serving the hot meals. You know AirAsia being a low-cost airline, meals need to be pre-booked. I did just that, otherwise, I would be starving (they don't allow you to carry outside food on the aircraft). Either way, you can't win - no choice. If you buy on-line it's cheaper versus buying on the spot, which is a bit dearer......but the more worrying thing is, it might run out of stock. You would be "fasting" for the next 14 hours.......It is the same with baggage fees. It's better to buy extra baggage allowance online rather than get caught with excess baggage fees as it will costs you a "bomb!".

So I have another meal to go before reaching London. That meal I just had, was my lunch.....based on our current approx. location (keeping time zone of GMT+5.5) over India. So today, I had two luncheons (one at the business lounge prior departure plus one a short while ago) due to the fact that we are moving westwards, as such we will be experiencing a prolong daytime. There will be no breakfast ! This is because the plane will be arriving London at 20.00 hrs GMT (London Time). The best thing to do after this is to get another good 4 to 5 hours sleep before the next meal. Normally the meal would be served a good 2 to 3 hours before arrival. The thing about flying, it is not easy to fall asleep especially if outside is daylight. I guess,  I've  already, accumulated partof the sleep deprivation,  from last night ironing and packing. As such, I should not have any difficulty in executing my snoozing act ! I've seen tips about the ways of getting to sleep on planes, please note following are a few of them. It's easier said than done, because there are many factors that might hinder you from sleeping. 1) Anxiety 2) dryness 3) coldness 4) cramped space - sitting position and legroom 5) noise 6) lighting 7) time zone and many others which I might miss out.
